2 YEARS OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Using Neem leaf extracts, a tree native to India, in cosmetics was a long and ambitious gamble! Declared “the tree of the 21st century by the UN” several years ago and nicknamed “the miracle tree”, “universal” or even “sacred”, Neem is known for its extraordinary cosmetic, medicinal and insecticidal properties. The Neem tree, little known in the West, is rich in multiple virtues and composed of 150 bio-active molecules. Some of them are incredible, others cannot be used in cosmetics. The great difficulty for NYM Laboratories was therefore to carry out this selection. Two years of research and development were necessary to obtain perfectly pure extracts. NATURAL AND EXCEPTIONAL FORMULAS
100% natural and highly concentrated, the active extracts in NYM products are the result of a rigorous scientific process. While in cosmetics, the quantity of active ingredients is around 0.3%, all NYM products – whether oils or emulsions – are composed of at least 2% active ingredients, which is one of the brand’s strong commitments. THE SPECIFIC VIRTUES OF NEEM
Known for 2000 years, the Neem tree is recognised for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-free radical, anti-spot and anti-oxidant qualities. Like a real shield against aggressions linked to stress, the environment and the passing of time, this real 5-in-1 product adapts to all skin types. In addition to its action against skin ageing, it eliminates redness, acne and blackheads and therefore considerably reduces wrinkles. The NYM skin care range attacks the causes of ageing, by “cleaning” the cells of the impurities responsible for skin ageing.
But it is not only the ally of all skin types! NYM fundamental care oil calms itching and is easy to use on the scalp as well as on dehydrated beards. Rich in omega 3 and 6, it will sublimate brittle nails by strengthening and nourishing the cuticles.
PRODUCTS MADE IN FRANCE
Although the Neem leaves are imported from India, the entire manufacturing process is carried out in France. French know-how is essential for NYM to guarantee optimal quality. Thus, the 100% French production allows short and controlled manufacturing times.
The extraction of the active ingredients, all of which are of natural origin, is carried out in a laboratory located in Clermont-Ferrand. From formulation to bottling, including manufacturing, all stages are produced in Essonne, only about fifty kilometres from Paris!
A STRONG SENSE OF ETHICS
The key word: Ethics! Numerous effectiveness tests were carried out by independent laboratories before the product was put on the market. This approach ensures the benefits of our products and respects the brand’s commitments. Not to mention that none of them are tested on animals. Finally, the import chain of the leaves is well traced: in which part of India are they collected and by whom? Nothing is left to chance. Moreover, entire villages are mobilised for the harvest. Local jobs are thus generated, as well as the payment of salaries for a responsible, ethical and dignified organisation.
